I live about 16 miles West of 81.I have no problem with my 2004 Toyota Tundra 2wd. It's the Virginians that made it slow.
I came home via RT 81. Follows along the blue ridge mountains. Beautiful.
Yes, its a beautiful area (biased)

Sounds like an area that need walked with a 36 inch magnet on wheels and hopefully a clean in and out with no flats, but at that price a can of fix a flat and a spair will do, easy as she goes, that recliner may be calling your name so stretch and move smart old cousin....lolHere was my score from yesterday, all free. But keep in mind still has nails and screws throughout. Loading them on and off the trailer was some serious cardio! Spent the better part of the afternoon cleaning them up. Sheet by miserable sheet. Today I go back for 2x4s same deal, filled with nails and screws mine for the taking just have to demo and remove, then strip of hardware.

Never knew you lived up there, this mikie had all I wanted first time to visit Illinois at 15, at 16 it was time to set off on my own and meet my father and older brother, never looked back except to visit/help mom. After leaving ND I wouldn't blame him.

Nice mini excavator. Or as some call it a mini hoe. I'll just leave that here.Late to the party again!
Had a friend take me for breakfast, then looked at his car for mysterious brake fluid loss. I think its small resevoir and sensor coming on as pads wear. Dunno, everything looks dry.

Doing some mods, boost point in case of dead battery. I have big cable connectors im going to use. It fits between hoist ramps as you can see.

Everyone basically needs D supplement. Especially in the winterJust got a call from the Dr. She said my blood work was good. She did test for Vitamin D this time which the lab thought was strange and my level was a bit low. Might as well start taking a multivitamin to boost that number up. For an ARNP she is a sharp gal. She is the one that found my heart valve issue. She got a hug for that.

We had that problem last Thursday and Friday. Over the weekend it settled down but a lot of snow on the ground. Mostly all melted now except for shaded areasComing down pretty good here. Kinda pretty, and REALLY quiet out there. Not sure if this will work, but view of the front yard from the doorway…..

My utility bill went down $50. I am on total 12 so it's averaged every month. I hope it stays that way and wasn't a mistake.
Just looked-up Quartzsite on the map, turns out I've driven through there a couple times. In Quartzite and all settled in an alone for a few days, in the mid 70's and I'm enjoying it.

Pictures didn't turn out good, the mountains are closer than they appear.
