Stop in for a cup of coffee

Some of you might remember that I bought an Old American High School graduation ring on the street the other week from some old guy that wanted to sell it. From Winamac HS 1924 . 10 k gold. I'm not sure how many grams of weight it had but it was pretty heavy. I wanted to take it and sell it right away to one of the gold exchange shops here in Saigon but Lynda didn't want me to do it right away. She was convinced that it may have been stolen and that I should wait and see if someone asks about it. LOL. Okay, no problem. So, being a little light on Dong in my pocket today and rather than go to the ATM to get more I decide I will go to the gold shop today and try to sell this ring. Bought the ring for 200,000 Dong. $8 USD. Sold it today to a gold shop for 8 Million Dong. $300 USD.... I keep telling people. You got to be in the right place at the right time. Kkkkkkkkkk

Sounds like a win

Morning!
Cold. Another blizzard is on its way. I have to figure out how to get this mess cleaned up that i made yesterday. Any snow i disturbed will now be a solid block, very difficult to plow. Have to chip away at it.

They call um "slow burn". LMAO
LMFAO!

Hey Rusty, check this out! I tried looking-up the different "types" and/or "classes" of fuses so I could respond in some irreverent and silly manner, and this is what AI generated for me (see the underlined red italics):

Fuse classes categorize electrical fuses by performance, size, and application (like Class CC, G, J, L, RK1, RK5, T) for specific protection needs, distinguishing fast-acting from time-delay types for electronics, motors, or general circuits, with standards like UL 248 defining their specs for safety and reliability, while also referring to fitness class names like Fit Flow Yoga or Spin at studios named "Fuse".

Electrical Fuse Classes (UL/NEMA Standards)

  • Class CC: Small, fast-acting, current-limiting for branch circuits, ballasts.
  • Class G: High-performance, for appliances, lighting, motors (with time-delay option).
  • Class J: Current-limiting, no intentional time delay, for general use.
  • Class L: Large, fast-acting, for service entrances (up to 6000A).
  • Class RK1/RK5: High-performance, current-limiting (RK1 superior, RK5 time-delay for motors).
  • Class T: Very fast, current-limiting, compact for space-restricted areas (e.g., service entrances).
  • Class H: Older type, renewable, less common now.
Other Classifications
  • By Speed: Fast-acting (for sensitive electronics) vs. Time-delay (for motor/transformer inrush).
  • By Application:
Semiconductor fuses (aR, gR, gS) for power electronics, DC fuses (larger, harder to extinguish arc), AC fuses (smaller).

Well, at least the wind settled down. We didn't get any snow here but there were blizzard warnings a couple counties north of here with white out conditions. It's 6° and calm this morning. I just stepped out and brought the garbage can in from the curb. Burr. I have a sweatshirt on but my PJ's don't insulate my bottom half that well. :BangHead:
