Stop in for a cup of coffee

I went for a cruise yesterday afternoon on PCH. A neighborhood right across PCH from the beach had about a dozen of these inflatables displayed, on roofs, on lawns, in trees  big smile time

So there is a place nearby me here that sells beef, supposedly Australian beef. Today, just to try it out I went by there and bought half of a tenderloin. One half kilo. Which is roughly 1 lb .Only cost $5.20 USD. I had them cut it thick. But now that I look at it, I don't think thick enough. I'm cooking some in a few minutes so I am both excited and apprehensive that it does not meet expectations. We will see ..

It looks good

Good morning everyone
Not alot going on here. Drugs and binge watching TV. Hanging out with my son has been great

About three pages back Hoppy posted a FB Marketplace ad for a “vintage” headlight service kit. Considering it’s really not that old, does the word “vintage” seem to be grossly overused to anyone else here?

Or does it make you feel old?

Oh, I almost forgot: @halifaxhops

Sounds like just what a Doctor would order.

Are you doing (or going to be doing) any P/T? If so, hang on to some of those drugs!
PT will be in a few weeks. This is the exact surgery I had on the left side 3 months ago, so I am pretty comfortable with what to expect. As for PT itself, I have the best PT on the planet. I look forward to each appt. Never hurt. Always better than before

For some strange reason we have one inflatable: a Christmas Snoopy. My wife says the nieces and nephews love it, so I guess it's going to be around for a while yet.

I don't know how many people here on this thread built models as youngsters, Or even adults. In the beginning I built airplanes mostly because my father was in the US Air Force but I moved on to building some boats and then on to cars. And I do know that by building models as a young man , I gained some assembly and mechanical knowledge, thus giving me an edge when it came to disassembling and reassembling an automobile or an engine or any automotive components for that matter..
I started with model cars then at 14 got my first 1:1 scale model. learned alot taking that one apart. together again, not so much

Same. When I was 14, a 16 year old friend of mine bought a '71 Ford LTD, and then promptly got it stuck in mud up to the bottom of the doors. His parents wouldn't pay for the tow (they didn't want him to have a car), and he couldn't afford it, so I paid the $60, and the car was hauled to my folks place....where I promptly tore it apart piece by piece.

I did, however, manage to make a little money on it by selling the 9" and the C6. The 400, on the other hand....Nope!

Throwing a couple of decorations out in front yard today, if had done sooner they all would have been down the street. Wind has removed both BBQ covers and moved the BBQ's quite a bit hopefully it calms down a bit
