I am in the process of setting up a new 40 gallon tank in my bedroom. Which is why I went into petsmart.

Umm do not set those on anything that you’d be upset if it gets ruined by water damage.
We had that same one for my daughter’s axylotol. It leaked on both back corners. Not enough to notice till we moved it one day and found the stand soaked underneath

About 6 years ago I bought my first tank used on marketplace for real cheap. After about a year and a half it started leaking, so I hear you. Who knows how old it was when I got it.
Something to be said for a one owner tank and a known age of it.

No big Christmas celebrations here where I'm at in Saigon. Yes, the Christians are here but mostly Catholic. A lot of them will celebrate but not like we do in America. I see this as a win-win. I don't have to buy gifts. I don't have to trim a tree or hang lights. Christmas is all about Jesus anyhow .It's all good.

I had a few aquariums, last one i think was 150 gallon, african cichlids are my favorite fish.
Got inturrupted today,drove Kim and the dog for an overnight visit to her friend’s an hour away. She really wanted to go but was nervous about driving. And bact to pick her up tomorrow.
Hope i can get plow truck done tomorrow. Wheel cyls replaced, new rear lines. Bleed brakes and test 4wd in the air tomorrow.

Yea, it's just preference. I do like me some bacon.
I like the fish tank! I had one when I was with my first wife. I had freshwater. I ended up with four wimple piranha. They would eat about 100 guppies in ten or so seconds. The biggest one got about the size of my hand. That's pretty big. lol We had to move in with Daddy about 1993, due to his health. They withstood the move. But they all four mysteriously died a few months later. So I changed over to saltwater. I have lots of different clown fish, several different tangs, a couple of jellyfish. I was going to get a lion fish. But then, she decided she had enough of being married and she left. A few days later, all my fish were floating and the water smelled strong of bleech. She admitted it later and also said she killed the wimple piranha too. I've thought about another tank, but that's as far as I've gotten.
