Stop in for a cup of coffee

I miss walking everyday. Last year when I was down in the other city of Vinh Long, there was a park nearby where people went and walked every morning as I did. It's more urban up here in the outskirts of Saigon and there's not really any walking parks. But tomorrow, Lynda and I are going to start walking on a couple of these back streets that are less crowded with traffic. Don't get me wrong. I still do Tai Chi every morning and I go to the gym at least 3 days a week but I miss walking

If it’s to be winter, I like it to snow
I would go crazy in an area like your in Mitch, but I must say I enjoy seeing your posts and reading them from there, maybe a bike ride out to the country side for a good walk, I would think it would be safe.

I am sure you all need a breat from all that white stuff, its been a tough one this beginning of the season up there.

That would be great Mike, but to get out to the countryside where it's less crowded would be at least a 40-minute ride on this motorbike. Crazy traffic in the city. But the streets behind the house I'm renting are pretty docile. Going to test them out tomorrow for walking

I miss going for walks with my sweetie but that doesn’t happen much anymore

Think I did 7 xmas ones. Always sucked.
yeah, especially if your daughter was younger at the time.

I tell you what, I admire and envy you all and your deployments. I'm quite embarrassed by my lack of them and honestly, pretty guilty about the whole thing. Seriously, my hats off to you and those that have. Thank you

60 this morning, feeling my age so a good walk is in my plans after coffee.
Hope all is well for everyone, Tuesdays are quit here, I haven't seen anyony head out to work yet this morning.

Missing my family I had before I married, you know! Brothers, uncle's and cousins.. I guess I need to write a blues song ..
i understand fully.....''most men live lives of quiet despertaion'' as we out live those around us....the flint in our sparkers..is loosing its edge.....chin up brother!!!!

Used to work with a guy that lived in a single wide and had both his and his wife’s Harley’s in the living room all winter with drip pans under them so they didn’t stain the carpet!!

Speaking of walking Jodi is up to a couple laps around the house right at 24hrs post hip replacement surgery. She is a bit loopy from the meds but doing well, still bossy even tho she is pumped full of meds and can’t hardly move. Seizing the moment I asked for and got permission to buy a new blaster but she drew the line at a hooker? I think clearly I need to give her one more pain pill and rephrase my request! Hah!
