Hard for a body shop to do restorations when they make lots more money doing insurance work. I understand the frustration Rich I've had to deal with customers wanting to get their car restored and have to wait for years before the body shop even starts working on them.
If I had the time and energy I'd get your car done but I have all I can handle right now.
Might want to do it yourself because it would be done faster and plenty of us body men on Fabo to help.

This shop has had it twice, they did a very small amount of work on it first time it was in then didn't touch it. You know that saying, fool me once shame on you.... If I wasn't in a rental and was retired I would certainly screw it up myself lol! Thanks for the kind words, yes it's frustrating. Wait list is 1 year at shop in Meridian ID, we may be retired and over there by then or maybe in 2027 but no later.

Thanks Fred I appreciate that but will go the shop route. Survived that with son's Firebird, unfortunately that car got totaled from the rear end after son had only had it on road 6 months or so, good news is nobody in his car was injured and of course the faulty hitter had no insurance so that was fun!

Merry Christmas to all my friends here on FABO. It is Christmas day here in Saigon but you wouldn't know it. Most things go on as normal. People going to work, cafes open ,all stores open. Haven't seen much Christmas decoration here, although there are plenty of Catholics and I have seen some. Maybe today I will go by the Gold Exchange store by some trinkets for Lynda. She will be surprised. I don't think they really exchange gifts at Christmas here.
