I worked with a couple off duty cops today on a gig. They were both an easy seventy five pounds overweight and let’s say less than ambitious. But they both got OT. They were my backup.

Fred, our daughter went thru a still born. She found a group called parents left behind that really helped her manage the grief. Just an amazing group. I bet there is a chapter or similar group there? Well worth the research, it made a huge positive difference for our family. It was a very difficult time for our family. It was just terrible.

Back in the old days all I remember is greasy jeans and trying to get my car ready for the weekend. Never had high heels or slick bellbottom pants. Did have a bit of a weekend when I was washed up good and had my best set of jeans on.

We were based temporary in a holding pattern in the arctic circle (neutral country) it was cold enough we would set our canteen cups by our mummy bags at night so we could just pee in the cup in middle of night and not go outside of the tent. In morning bang the cup a time or two to bust the frozen pee out of it and proceed to put your breakfast in it, then eat your breakfast out of said canteen cup. Good times
Side note, in Marine Corps logic, from there we then rotated to the desert!
