Stop in for a cup of coffee

We had an issue during this storm so I tried to get up to the radio site, did NOT have a saw onboard but thought I'd give it a go anyway, about 500 feet from top ran into this. Fortunately it was a microwave path issue that cleared and communications were restored w/o me having to get into the com room although I do have an installation I need to do next week. Trying to get a battery powered saw from stores since they don't like us carrying gas cans

Not only are we putting Starlink as a backup on some of our communications sites there is now a mobile system we are installing on some of our bucket trucks. Not for radio coms but rather their laptop data that their jobs and maps come up on.

Not bad because of studded snow tires, could tell where the road was but had to back down the road a bit to find a turnaround spot and that was a little sketchy hoping the ditch on one end and cliff on the other would be kind, think a 20 point turn lol!

In June Elon and SpaceX start launching another orbital communication pollutant called Rivada. I haven't looked to see if that's another of Elon's money makers.

@memike , not a 66 but a cool launch! View attachment 1716520826
Yes it is!! Thank you, with storms moving in Sunday evening, I think I will sneak out to George Rays about 1pm, racing today and tomorrow, hate to break down on Sunday at 5pm and get caught in a storm, believe Mikie will stay home Sunday.

She is defiantly having her ups and downs or hot and cold flashes best fits.
Yep! She sure is, 70es today and sunny, Sunday evening looks bad stormy with 75 mph winds and tornado out break, the down in the high 20es with a chance of snow flurries, hay, if you don't like the weather here in Arkansas! Just wait it will change.

Oh man !! Your job keeps you out and about in that beautiful country, stay safe and sharp up there.

Well, that's zero fun. Is that the same 1" - 100" forecast that Eric mentioned?
Yup! We’ll get it a few hours/half a day before he does. Looks like the heaviest part may be in a narrow and long strip/band, so all we can do is wait it out and deal with it on the other side.

To be honest I’m kind of looking forward to it, as I’ll get to use my new “toy” on Sunday:

It's addicting and you will sure get a lot of work done quickly, have fun and be safe!

Located a 904 driveshaft on Tempest Craigslist, sending a check off today in good faith, not cheap to ship one but not finding locally so it's coming from Michigan.

Very nice a day for all to remember, looks like everyone's having a blast!
You are correct. Just a great day to be alive. Dogs were having a blast, grandson was in his glory stomping all thru the pond. Jodi and I were howling on sidelines with his folks! He never hesitated, he said I am going in. Shucked off his clothes and piled in.

That's great!
