Not many bowling alleys left around here. A large amount closed in the late eighties, early ninteys. Most turned into strip malls.

I have gone around the local area taste testing burgers and I have classified them into two categories which is fast burgers and grille burgers and the bowling alley was winner for grille burger and sonic was the winner for fast burgers for myself.

There are a lot of burger choices in the area and I decided I like to eat beef even though I was raised vegetarian till I was 15 before I moved to the USA. I wouldn't recommend vegetarian to anyone because I could probably have better health now and be stronger now if I had eaten better as a kid.

just my own opinion for me ....there are so many choices. others will vary but its bliss having so many choices and I can eat whatever I want :farao:

We have 2 in town and one in the neighboring town. Most small towns around have a 7 lane and are very active in tournaments. Got to have something to do in the cold of winter. Wish I could have caught you Karl. Always fun to meet FABO members.

1/4 mile up the road we had willow grove park lanes which was part of the amusement park.

116 lanes and if I remember three restaurants and a play area to drop off the kiddies.

It's all a shopping mall now. Only thing left of the park is the Merry Go Round. And some of the iron railings that went around the rides.
