Non-alcoholic flavored sparkling water tonight. It's good...it should be, costs almost the same as beer!

Yesterday I was at a "cookout" for 6 hours. Rain drove us inside, the couple "hosting" the party provided the apartment complex's grill and swimming pool, my friend and I provided the food/booze, and she and I were the only people who showed up. Hosts got roaring drunk, I saw if we were going to eat, it was up to me to orchestrate dinner. The hostess passed out, which was good because her voice was like fingernails on a chalkboard. I had just enough liquor in me that I might have said something "catty." So as soon as we ate, I got the heck out of there.

I'm not inviting them to my place, let them think I have poor manners, I don't care!

I hope you'll send that cooler weather this way. It was tooooo hot today, and it's supposed to be even hotter the rest of the week. Hope your back is feeling better, Mike. If you have an "Asian" store in your town, they will have the White Flower Oil. You use it like Ben-gay or Icy Hot but it's better. I don't think it has any white flowers in it, that's just the name. It smells minty.

Yes we have one in town, I may try it :glasses7: taking it easy and doing 60 steps a day on my stepper to keep things lined up, it is still tender after over lifting on the rear end I got, I did bring a young gun with me but I could not help but grab one end of it to help get it in the Ramcharger :glasses7: I hired the young gun today to do a few things outside and he started wire brushing the 8 1/4 today, he drank 3 beers and said it was funny drinking and me not
Heat can drain me fast, if I drink a couple cold beers I am not as careful as I walk

Coors Light for me tonight. Some Kicken wings on the grill and some bacon wrapped green beans. Fresh cantaloupe too. Damn Ben. That looks good!

Tell me about these bacon wrapped green beans, how do you do em? I grilled some T-bones and momma fried up some squash from the garden. Bacon wrapping got my taste buds all fired upf. Do tell..

I leave the beans whole but trim the ends. Then I steam or boil till crisp tender and shock them in ice water to cool. Wrap them in a 1/2 strip of bacon and pepper to taste. I spray a little oil on a strip of foil and slide them on the grill. When the bacon is done the beans are usually wrinkled but will melt in your mouth.

Got my toolbox frame mounted in the trunk. Went for a pedal bike ride while the kids went out to eat with g-grandma. Made it to the neighbors. On beer number 5. Still smooth.
