Sipping a Bulleit rye Old Fashioned at the moment enjoying a beautiful night on the mountain in north Idaho. It's supposed to get back into the high 80's this weekend.
High 80's??? Obviously, you ain't in the hill country at the moment.

Threw a coat of paint on the garage trim today and just finished a refreshing Moscow Mule. Now I'll have a martini and go stir the chicken tortilla soup my wife has simmering.

Not my favorite but good.
Drank my share of that. My brother in law drinks Hennesy with 7 up.
Haven't mixed it with anything but ice yet but I like my Sprite and black velvet so will try the Hennesy next time with Sprite.

It was good. I rarely spend this much on a bottle but it was a gift. Helped me forget my arthritis for a while.
I am forgetting as we speak. LOL I used to be a Black Velvet and Seven drinker. I got hooked up with a local whisky tasting group and away we go. Yee Haw!

Just back from four months in north Idaho to the Texas Hill Country wondering what booze I left when we headed out. It appears my son and DIL, that used the place for a couple of weeks until they headed to his job in SE Texas left some Beam Black. Nice surprise upon arrival rural here at 5 PM.
