Strange 65' Barracuda grill?

Anybody familiar with this grill on a 65', a friend of mine sent me some pics and I just kept scratching my head and thinking it's surely some type of retrofit with the grill off something else but even though it appears a bit damaged it does have the right fit. The dash is different also. Going to get the Vin and ask some questions but the car's owner won't be available till next week. Hmmmmm?

Its a 64 Valiant grille with lights cut in it.

No doubt it's a Valiant as opposed to my own 65 formula S which has the original grill. All the eary a body part interchange pretty much as the parts where made in the same factories and swapped a lot!
