Anybody remember the bracket that was advertised in all the Mopar mags many years ago? It mounted where the dash defrost vent would be. I think it's been out of production for years, but it was a very clean installation. It would be cool if someone made them again.

Here is mine mounted on the old auto shifter brcket. Car is now a 4spd.

My dash pad already had a hole in it so I used it.

Anyone know if there is a pillar molding for gauges that will fit an a body

Used the tach mount for column and flattened it out and used the bottom screw of the pillar

I did that and it eventually put a dent in my dashpad, man was I grumbling.

here's where mine ended up. i had it on the dash like some prior post. the silver tach reflected itself to the windsheild and distracted my vision when looking at the staging tree. i really don't look at the tach much since everything is controlled with the msd 7al, including the ele. shift. i do glance at it here and there.
