Tell me where these go Please!

1969 Dart, these two pieces of split open rubber pieces were in my parts pile from when I gutted the car years ago, they are 4" long, OD is 3/4", ID is about 3/8" and painted yellow like a lot of stuff in the car from when it got a color change.
Anybody have an idea where they might go? Something that pushes over linkage or rods to silence something? I'm at a loss but know that they were on the car somewhere.

I think they may be anti-rattle sleeves that slide over the trunk torsion rods?

I added the car info to the original post. Thank You for the information. My collection of parts just dropped by 2 pieces now. LOL It's not dropping fast enough though!
