Is there a proper color? Wondering if anyone has powder coated a set and what color/supplier they used?

Pictures would be helpful......

Chris

class A silver. that is what i used on the rallye wheels i did for my dad years ago. turned out nice.

Thanks for the props guys but I don't do a lot of wheels around here (especially steelies) ... they cost a fortune to ship back and forth.

BUT if I was to do a set of rallyes they'd be in the right colors. :-D

Also called Argent Silver, depending on where you buy. I shot mine with Rustoleum Argent Silver and I couldn't see any difference when I went to car shows... but that might just mean the guys around here did the same thing lol.

Rick, if I'm not mistaken that's the match for Chevy ralley wheels. Similar, but not "correct."

I didn't know that. I bought an assortment from them when I bought my powder coating system. I never used it but will some day for my car. I need to practice on things I can ruin for a time. Then maybe I'll chance my parts.

Wow I just checked out Cudachicks website - amazing work.

Wish we had someone down here who did work like that.

Awww, thank you danmax!! :-D I know the shipping's a killer and takes awhile back and forth, but I've got customers from all over the world including Down Under. It'd be an honor to have you on board too.

I love your attitude Rick :-D ... seems it's been a hundred years lol but I understand what you mean about the practice. Seriously though, keep in mind that your powder collection has a fairly limited shelf life (6 months +/-). If it doesn't 'flow' like water in the cup or bag when you swirl it, your results will be unpredictable.
