Three day weekend for some folks. Whats your plans.

Taking Krusty to it's 2nd carshow on Sunday. This one is fairly local....
The bad part is...I have to trailer it almost all the way to the show. 4mpg on 110, isn't economical.

University Avenue Cruise. Always fun now that there's a bunch of roundabouts on the route.

We might go get a breakfast biscuit in Milledgeville Saturday mornin. Depends on what the weather does.

I start my vacation today and then return to a new job when I come back. Probably gonna cook on the grille and drink beer, go to a car show on Saturday.

Gonna head up to the Reno Pick-N-Pull and get some parts off a 76 Dart.
Give me sumpthin to do.

EDIT:
I did get up to the Reno-Sparks, Pick-N-Pull wrecking yard this morning, and got lower control arms, calipers, and caliper mounts off that 76 Dart.
Since that car has been out in one of the Chrysler row of cars, for quite awhile now, somebody already got the upper control arms, spindles, and rotors, and gravel shields.
I would have bought that stuff too, as a 40% off sale is going on.
And the complete rear end is gone off the car, also.

Then on the I-80 around the way back home, i ran over something in the lane of traffic.
Shredded the right rear tire to holy hell.
Fortunate for me i was in a good area on the shoulder of the highway, changing the tire.

Then further down the highway Cal Trans was doing something, and traffic was backed up, stop and go, super slow, for a good ten miles or so.

So, all in all, i don't think i had a good day at all.

Getting a new tire put on the wheel at Americas Tire in my neighborhood, and will pick it up sometime tomorrow, late morning.

Red will be on the Amtrack to St. Louis leaving today before I get off work. 3 days of peace and quiet with my pointer and our big mutt Mugger. Sorting parts for the sale of my parts collection and a few cars. Probably a nice cruise in the 67 Convertible Barracuda. It hasn't been out all summer. Serenity now! Ah yes almost forgot...family reunion 2moro.

Today, help out with a diff teardown (not too bad)

Tomorrow, rent jackhammer and tear out concrete (1st time for everything)

Sunday and Monday at the mines.

Starting my 2 weeks vacation as of 5 pm today. Leaving for a week in Winnipeg early tomorrow morning, wife wants to visit her sister and some friends who we haven't seen in a while. Looking forward to just enjoying some good times.

BBQ some country ribs, stuffed jalapenos, sweet cole slaw, roast some well seasoned red taters, wash it all down with a really cold beer.
Thats the good part, ya don't want to hear the bad part!:confederateflag:

We meet our daughter’s PreK teacher today. Salmon & halibut is open and the seas are <3’ all weekend…& I need to find a trailhead for high buck hunting where there ISN’T a fire burning currently…

I'll be cleaning up the shop and getting ready for the 904 to 42RH swap in the wagon. The huge shop addition I had done is almost finished so it will be time to sort out the parts I'll never use and find them new homes.

A bit of slow cooker Mexican stew and several beers to wash it down, some music and loafing on the porch watching the world go by.

More than likely trying to get the brakes working again on this and start going through the fuel system/wiring.

My Lady and I gonna take my B body to the coast here in Oregon and head down highway 101 and goto Bandon and hang for the day. Should be a 5-6 hour round trip.
