Tire size???

Was wonderin' since there are a lot of cuda guys here.If anyone knows ow big a back tire you can get under a stock 68 barracuda???I want to have a little meat under it.But i still want to keep the back seat.Any ideas???

I have 275/50-15 drag radials under the back of mine....15x8 wheels with 5.5" backspace.....I used the offset hangers/shackles because the tires rubbed the springs on corners

You have a B body rear under your car dont you ?

A body rear you'll need less offset. With the springs in the stock location I think that 4.25" is as much as you can use.

i DO have a B-body rear under my car......that makes a difference

I have a stock A-body housing under my 67 fastback and use 295/50/15s.

In order to make them fit, I use 8.5 centerlines with 4 7/8 backspacing and the MP offset spring shackle kit.

They look clean from the outside, do not rub and they are not pinched down on the rims.

Do you have pictures of them ? Thats the size Im going with soon. I have the same rims.
