does any body know what the powerband is on the old torker single plane intake ? thanks brian

The Torker, not the Torker II... I have one of these on my motor right now. It feels like the power band starts at about 2800 and goes past 5500.

IIRC, it's also a 2500 - 6500 rpm power band.

I have a TorkerII 340 or 360 and went to the RPM Air-Gap. I notice a big bottom end increase. His current Torker has straighter runners and a possible shallower plenum.

i have curently the summit rpm air gap stage 3, wich i think professional products makes it, so i think mine has very close to same results.its a 340 ,solid cam 244/252 @o50 520/540 lift, 4.11 suregrip, 3500 stall, 750 hp holley, x heads, 2.02 /1.6 ported, really dont want to twist it past 6800-7000 . street car. 1.6 ratio rockers are next and 3 inch exhaust.

IMHO, if it's the older torker 340, you'd be better off grafting a trash can to the engine with a 4150 carb flange.

I'd run the summit/pro products intake before the Torker if it's the old 340 manifold.

I agree. When Ed Hamberger had his For 340's Only shop, he told me the manifold was junk. He told me the stock manifold put out more horse. This was the old Torker 340 manifold.
