It is known as "poultry ****", damn rooster naked a a Jay bird!
Do I read that price right??? $299.99 ? What is he made of, gold???

Our little town has a new TS about to open. We finally got our first traffic light.... OK the reason is for when school lets out!
And the little portable trailer that sells snow cones now sells fancy coffee in the winter!!! Go figure!!

Hey, sounds like your little town is doing well. The town I came from was so small they could only afford a red light. They had to save up to get the green and yellow.

I guess there are a lot of people willing to pay a lot for a big ****. Just the threads on here about them is proof enough.

I'll bet it's $50 December 26th. Still too much.

I would expect the **** would have been a lot bigger for $300.
Look at the front entrance in the pic, that "coc a doodle do" (Yankee chicken) is almost as tall as the door! Our little Dachshund rides in the cart when we venture out to a TS, ( in every town like Casey's up North!) That **** is so big it scared our little dachshund last week at TS in the next town over. He is brave as they come, but that damn chicken has him nervous! Not scared, just nervous! :BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

I look at things like those giant cocks and wonder how they can be built and sold that cheap. I realize it's basically slave labor & mass production, but I also try to imagine how long it would take me to build and paint something like that and then sell it for only $300.00.

PS... we have a couple of them and I clear coated them with gold pearl so they really "pop" in the sunlight. Stacy loves the giant cocks!

Yea, I thought the same thing, if those are all steel, you couldn't build one that looks that manufactured for 3 bills

There is a vendor at Carlisle for all the shows that sells all kinds of metal birds and other creatures.
RESONABLE prices.
I have a few 6ft flamingos, parrots etc
Never paid more the $175.00
I keep them outside in the warm weather? Just spray a coat of clear over them every spring
