Ok so I am getting a trans brake installed in my trans its not a mopar its a 350 turbo with a 3500 stall but this is the only place that I knew of that would know the answer Will a trans brake help out my 1/4 mile times I have herd both no and yes Thanks for the help

I would think so because they allow you to set your rpm's higher and launch at those high rpm's . Rather than foot braking it and having to stay at a low rpm to not spin the tires

it will as long as it hooks my car 60 foots 1.48 off the foot and 1.39 on the brake but it will hit the tire alot harder on the brake and make sure you have a good converter because the brake will screw a junk converter up

IMO, trans brakes are all about consistency. It's essentially used for better reaction times at launch by being able to repeat the same RPM every time which is hard to do with your foot. Releasing a button takes less concentration, you can focus on the launch. Might help with ET since you leave the line at a higher RPM. Your chassis will load differently.

3,500 RPM stall seems a tad low for a trans brake application though, no?

Ok thanks guys that sums it up Its a 3200 to 3600 Boss hog hope it holds I didnt want to go bigger since I will be on the street driving it on weekends
