tried to start her up. was already to take video and everything. but i dont get anyhting when cranking. the nut at the starter was only hand tight because im working on this thing at home and dont have all my tools here. but ill have to look everything over 2morro night before i tryand start it again.

Ya Its hard to start the car when its Hand tight. Get that thing tight then try to start it.

was it hard for it to turn over when you cranked it? IF the starter shakes right now, like if you went under the car and was able to shake it, it will be really hard for it to start

aww, k make sure that thing is tight if its loose and it should crank hopefully

guess i should explain more...the battery positive cable that goes to the starter isnt completely tight. but from the cars that ive worked on so far, it seems like it should be tight enough...

wonder what i could have screwed up?...i only tried to start it 3 times...i used a good battery....have had a busy day and didnt start looking around yet...i awlays come on here to vent tho...and run things by on here...park netral switch?....something there?....

im not even getting the starter clicking....im hoping that battery pos cable just needs to be all the way tight. im thinking thats wishful thinking....

yeah, im hitn the bricks tho, thanks for the brainstorming...ill let you know what i finf or dont find....

Everything needs to be tightened! To make a connection.Hope it starts for ya.Sounds like something simple yuo,ll be able to figure out.

well...i have spark and fuel...and tripple checked the timing......but nothing. it just cranks, and cranks, and cranks, and cranks...no popping, no sputtering...

is your carb adjusted? I had the same thing when I put my 750 vac sec on, I think the floats wernt adjusted.

maybe....not sure I just know When I brake my motor in, I will be using a Carb that I know will work, so that I dont have to adjust it right away
