360 Duster using 340 HP manifolds. Any experience using their Down pipes? Is it a hammerfest or do they fit well?

Watching this, I just ordered a 2 1/2' set for my car. You have to give them the manifold casting numbers. There are a few different configurations.

i posted some pic's before// they fit excellent !!!!!!!!!!!!///must follow instructions on the automatic linkage notes and a mini starter using the relocation terminals also posted here 69 auto 340 barracuda using hp manifolds//photo shows factory starter /wire makes unhealthy bends and can get burned by pipe so the mini is the only way to go !!!

Here is my experience. I've used them twice and they are nice......

I was installing my down pipes tonight. Drivers side fit beautifully. Passenger side.... I don’t see a way. Besides cutting off a corner of my bellhousing and not running an oil filter. The way it runs through the car I can’t see how in the world it would even work. Yes, I have them my manifold numbers... 340 HP manifolds, 4 speed etc. I didn’t revive instructions in my box. However I can see that the oil filter is smack in the way. But I have to run a 90 degree oil filter to clear the manifold exit. I give up. Ughhh. I’ll call them tomorrow.

I have mine in now, they fit great! The drivers side was a bit of work, I had to do the suggested mods on the trans to carb linkage. This all started because of the torsion bars. I upgraded to 1.03 bars and had some problems with the exhaust trying to occupy the same place. I ordered the TTI's, did the mods and bolted them in. I have 73 340 exhaust manifolds and it's 2 1/2" dual exhaust, and I do have the 90* oil adapter. Those things are a work of art!!

I had no issues on my 73 340, actually hooked them up to summits 2.5 exhaust kit with just buying one extra piece of 2' straight pipe.

All in all, after I got a real 90 degree oil filter adapter... they went on perfect. The pitman arm just touches on the driver side. But that could be the manufacturer difference. They are nice. I bought the starter terminals from Fabo and see no reason to use them. I had no interference at all.
