How much body work to change a '64 to '65 Dart?

Should be interesting I have wondered that myself

You'll need a front-end assembly ("front clip", that is front fenders, hood, radiator support, front valence), a front bumper, a dashboard assembly, a trunk lid, and surgery (metalwork) on the quarter panels where the taillights mount. You'll have to decide which trim and emblems you want to use, and fill/drill holes as necessary.

Er...why?

I forgot about the tail lights. That would be more than a massage.

Ive always liked the 65 front end and the 63 rear. Ive been looking for a front clip for my 63. I wish the made new panels instead of trying to source piece by piece.

I am being serious. Why not sell the 64 and buy a 65. In the long run, wouldn't that be cheaper and easier?

Sometimes it is fun to make some oddball creation that the factory never made. I once had a 68 Dart front end on a 73 Dart Sport. Everything lined up and aside from the side markers being different, it looked like it could have been built that way.

True, if You were combining various features from different years & models to suit One's tastes, but Dodge made plenty of '65 Darts to still go around..........
I had a '70-'71 grille blacked-out in My '72 Swinger because I preferred the slicker non-protruding turn/park lamps, that didn't require any reconstruction tho' lol............
I did at one point consider finding another of that era & making a "Mini Daytona" out of one, but a year and a half later someone beat Me to it, forget which mag it was in..

Doug Dutra's DaCuda, lookin' as if they all should've come this way.

That's the front-end, but not the bumper, which is the reason for the query. I'm just not sure if that's a '65 Dart, or a Valli/'cuda variant on there. Now I have to jump
threads & looky-see!!

By golly you're right. Let's see. Back bumper may be. Too straight for a front.
