U want to hear a 273 beast rolling thru the gears ?

Hear is a short video of my 65 barracuda with a beasty 273 4 speed and 3:55 gears . don't under estimate a 273 LOL ! this car is very fast . in this video , I'm just tapping the gas pedal . not even into the secondaries. It loves to rev as you can hear and not even close to my red line of 5900 rpms. "THE UNDER DOG"

Kinda miss feeling it come in around 3500 and start pulling hard.

With a well setup valve train, they will rev 6200. I used to shift my 67 Dart at 6100 to 6200 rpms and never had any problems.

I shift around 5,000. My exhaust is Accurite LTD HP single with the resonator so it's pretty quiet. Around 65 at the bottom of 3rd. It's not fast but it is fun.

It was once described as the "Mythical" 273 sound. It is a perfect driving engine especially with a manual trans and a good rear end gear. Thanks for posting...this is the first year I haven't driven mine and that was music to my ears! thanks
