Hi
new on here from the UK, coming to vegas in october for a holiday. just blown my motor, was wanting to know are there any mopar specialists in vegas who could sort me out with pistons, rods etc. would also like to know if there are any meetings/shows or anything of mopar interest i could look at while im there. any info much appreciated!

i bought this in 2007 from a guy in moses lake, washington. had a new 440 built running consistent 11's and just finished bodywork and paint, aiming for a 60's super stock look, what do you guys think?

Hi reckless -
I can't help with any Mopar specialists in Las Vegas, but I know a FABO member that lives in Las Vegas who can probably help. I'll send a PM to him and ask him to PM you with any information he may have.
Regarding Mopar shows, I suggest you take a (relatively) short side trip to Van Nuys, California, on 17 October for 'Fall Fling' at Woodley Park. It's a 1-day event and you'll see LOTS of Mopars as it is a Mopar only event. It's put on by a Southern California Mopar club, Chrysler Performance West (CPW). Here is the information: http://www.cpwclub.com/fallfling.html. FABO member 'autoxcuda' is the President of CPW and can provide additional information.
Another exclusive Mopar event is 'Mopars at the Mansion' the night before. It's sponsored by Mopar Collectors Guide magazine and is held at the Playboy Mansion. Information: http://www.moparsatthemansion.com/
You can catch a 1-hour flight from Las Vegas to Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California, on Southwest Airlines. Woodley Park is less than 10 miles from the airport.
By the way, my club (Inland Mopars Car Club) will be drawing the winning raffle ticket at Fall Fling for our 2009 Charity project car. A 1970 Dart Swinger, Plum Crazy purple, with a Paxton-supercharged 360. Stop by, say 'Hi' to me (ocdart), and fellow FABO members 'carriesduster', and '67gtx'. You can buy some raffle tickets and maybe take this pretty little ride back to the UK with you!

Hope you have an enjoyable holiday,
Ken (ocdart)

there is a local mopar club...

if you need parts...i would contact a supplier out of Los angles....doubt anyone stock parts....probably cheaper to have them drop shipped out of LA.

there are no speed shops in vegas.....

actually I would contact 440source.com out of LA and hook up with one of his kits...
