update on my 71 Dart

Well its be some time now. got some more work done on the dart.
as i posted before i have got the new 1/4 on did all the body work still more to do. got the motor just about done just need the pushrods and that part is done . its a 416 stroker motor . got some Super stock springs on it new M/T 255/60r /15 for her . looking for a Dana 60 for it so if any body knows of one shoot me a pm i just need the housing. got everything else. Saturday my son and i got some floor work done. he welded up some rust holes up for me . for a 17 year old he is damn good with a welder. i would have it almost done if i could get the wife to stay out of my car money LOL........... But we all know how that go's........

well i got one frame tie in tonight well i got it mocked up,, it was a little bit of a job the way i did it. got pics........ i ran inside the frame rail to make it a true full frame.. may have not been the right way but its my way..

got my new wheels for the dart today.. looks good i think i will have room for the tires. got to paint them first before mounting the tires on them.

Ok i took some vacation time today and friday to get some work done on the dart. we been working 10 hour a day 6 days a week . good money but need some RR time for me. after the wife has gone to work i went to the paint store a got some paint for my wheels. its Dupont Centari Diamond blue. it a chrysler color 1989. let the paint set up & dry then i will go get the tires mounted on them. i was thinking of painting the front wheels but my son said nope .... I may paint the whole car that color..with a white or black strip on the back????? I don't know.

got my new upper A arms ... after i found out that somebody welded the old ones to the ball jonits to the upper a arm. and I found a dana 60 for the dart also .

Well i got my dana 60 today thanks to that 79 ford f250 . she fought me real hard. then we had a talk i told her she could fight me all she want to BUT is was come out and home with me. she gave up and she is now in my garage now.. got it at a pick a part today. after some clean up and a trip to the car wash to clean some dirt and get it apart and then a trip to Moser to have it cut down for the dart . oh buy the way the dana only cost me 66.00 dollors.

Tech won't like where the fuel regulator is mounted.

Cool on the Dana, especially if it has a gear set you wanted.

Not going to use that fuel reg. dont need it. just have not taking if off the car.. No not the gear i am looking for but thats ok i dont like to use someones junk. I like new.. Looking for a 4.10 or maybe a little more gear..
