I've read that /6 and V8 cars used the same K-frame so if that is the case all we need is a pair of engine brackets and motor mounts? and drop link.
Thank you

The Doug's headers are REAL nice. I had them on my '65 Valiant. They almost literally fell in. Easiest set of headers I ever installed. I also did NOT install a drop center link. I used a stock car pan and had no trouble at all. I also used the Schumacher mounts so that may have had something to do with it.

you will need a V8 Tranny or bell housing;
and the correct driveshaft too.

Unless the car has no rust, It might be easier to buy a V8 car. :)

If your 6 had A/C you can use the throttle cable, but the non AC linkage throttle contraption wont work. Get the kickdown from the V8 too.

after market kick down cable will be easier to find if going to a 4 barrell on that V 8

And cooling, exhaust system, correct engine accessories, etc......along with recommended upgrades like: bigger torsion bars, HD rear axle, better brakes, etc.....
