Not really. It's purpose in our fleet is to offer a bed, a table to eat, a outlet to plug into, and pull a trailer... LOL. Racing wasn't a part of it, but I've had so many responses because of the video intro I built, I thought I'd run it and show just what it was... or what it wasn't.... LOLThat's impressive for that giant van. Any plans to upgrade anything and try to get 14s??
stocker?Thought it was a stocker guess not. Good job.
Ah. Yeah, the first post told everything in the thread folks guessed ET.All stock.
Weather holds out for Saturday, plan is to take the '89 B250 Van to the track to swap meet/TnT. Anyone want to guess the E.T. of this whale ??

- Weight unknown, but it's not the shorty or the maxi, regular window van. Rear seat removed and bed installed. Has hitch, rear heat/ac.
- Gears unknown, but by ear I'd guess 3.55's ??? 30" tire
- TCI tranny with hughes HD (pulling) TC
- stock 5.9 magnum with 670 holley SA, headers, and the stock roller cam from a '89 360.
- We will video it and post it
WAIT !!!! Post 4 you said 15.85, but then retracted in post 5 and said 19.20 !!!!!! FOUL !I was the second closest with my "the price is right" answer.
I've been watching that PT cruiser on YouTube that thing is crazy!I didn't video anyone else, but cars of interest .....
- Hellcat I raced, that guy got a 10.06
- '80 Volare with a slant 6, 1 bbl ran 20.xx
- Went heads up with a 454 Chevy 2wd short bed and I WON He ran a 16.20 against me... Super Nice kid, by the way.
- PT Cruiser with a Blown 440 in it. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see him run just because he kept staging when I was in line.
- Some really super fast "street" legal S10's drove in, with parachutes and the works. They raced "clocks off" but word was 8.50's
- 5 people asked me throughout the day if I really drove it up from Az. LOL My "318willrun" plate
Are you referring to the 318 race I started a few years ago that morphed into the small block race???Does anyone know if the 318 virtual race index worksheet from a few years ago is still posted? Tried searching but can’t remember what the exact title was. Thanks.
Yes, there was an index worksheet with it somewhere? Are you referring to the 318 race I started a few years ago that morphed into the small block race???
Yes, there was an index worksheet with it somewhere?
Great, thanks for the file. Maybe take your van over the scales where you weighed your DT sometime. So for kicks and grins, I guessed 5300 lbs on the Van. According to this chart, I would have needed to run a 15.7, so very close. All a mute point because I don't know the weight.
I'll get it there... sometime! My '77 Shorty too, I want to know what it weighs as well.Great, thanks for the file. Maybe take your van over the scales where you weighed your DT sometime.
5.9 magnum stock with 4bbl and headers.I guesses 15:70 I was "sorta " in the ball park Congrats man..did you say it was a 360?
I do like the roller cam setup in those engines, they remind me of what Ford did with the 5.0 ,5.8 Windsor...5.9 magnum stock with 4bbl and headers.
I nominate this for the official "Van-O-War" theme song-
"Fighting, fighting, fighting the world
I've been fighting the world"
I'll get it weighed at some point and we'll know for sure...i made 3 guesses based on weight,..1st guess was 15.80 at 5000 lbs based on 250 hp and figured on wallace calculator, and 16.80 at 6000 lbs,...then later on guessed again at 4500 lbs,..whats that van really weight????????????
All these guesses and nobody stated the obvious ........i made 3 guesses based on weight,..1st guess was 15.80 at 5000 lbs based on 250 hp and figured on wallace calculator, and 16.80 at 6000 lbs,...then later on guessed again at 4500 lbs,..whats that van really weight????????????
