Video of the Oldschoolcuda

Beautiful Barracuda!

That thing looks tame it's so pretty until you start it up. Holy crap that idle alone will scare off the young punks who think they can take you.
By the looks of that chrome and paint I'd say you have quite a bit invested in that car.
Can't wait to see some action video of that thing goin down the road gettin it.

My door was like that too and nothing worked until I put bearing grease all over the hinge pivots.

I thought it was my car when I heard the door open Lol,what camshaft is in that? souds awesome!!!

Very nice car oldschool, sounds sweet too! The only thing we are taking out of the garage here today is our shovels and snowblowers!!! Here in central WI we got 7-9 inches of that famed 4 letter word.....SNOW!
Nice car once again!

Very nice! What size engine, 360? I like the way your car sounds. What mufflers are you using? I'm using Dynomax Super Turbos. They sound good, but I want something that will vibrate the ground.

Yeah you need to give us the full scoop on your set up.. cam.. mufflers etc... it sounds goooood!

Thanks guys. The Oldschoolcuda has been a 5 yr. labor of love( I mean money) & still is a work in progress. Sorry for the door but she had been sitting for about a month until today. Trying to take advantage of this unusually warm weather. The cuda has a .030 over 71 340 block with a lunati voodoo 60403 cam(.513 lift),rhoads lifters, worked X heads & eddy rpm airgap with 800eps carb. Whining sound is electric water pump drive. Exhaust is hooker super comp fender wells into custom 2.5" system with series 40 flowmasters.

How do you like the cam?I put the same one in my 318,and am about to fire it up for the first time. You have an awsome car there.Keep up the good work.

What video camera were you using? Mine doesn't pick up the sound anywhere near that one. That is a very Sharp Barracuda by the way.

Changed from comp. cams magnum unit(.480 lift) to the lunati voodoo when I had the heads done last year & very happy with it. Really helps with the Oldschool sleeper setup I wanted. The video unit RacerX is a little flip setup my wife got me for christmas. I am very low tech & still figured it out so i'm happy with its quality. Thanks

hey bruce sounds good! are you running a stall in it? if so how much are you useing, 2400? what is your compression as well. nice meeting you by the way!

Thank you Oldschoolcuda
I don't need any coffee this morning after seeing and hearing
your cuda this morning. :happy10:Congrat's on your video
And the great build on your Barracuda.=P~

Nice meeting you also Gregg. Love your cars. Thanks Mike I'm glad the wife got me a low tech camcorder & have about 1/2 day of nice weather left. It's running stock 10.5 to 1 compression(TRW forged pistons) & stall converter is about 2800.

I'm with Mike on this one, only I had my coffee already. I need to jog aroung my back yard now! (in the snow!)

Awesome car! And I know it's been said before, please lube the door hinges.

Brock

Very nice video and really cool car.
It sounds awesome.
I too had to get the snow blower out this morning!
Rich

PS WD40 isn't a lubricant, it's good stuff for the hinges I like "SuperLube" because it has teflon in it.

Thanks for the comments guys and door hinges got lubed this morning. Usually don't have to worry about it till spring but weather is nuts hear in VA. Hope to get some videos of the cuda in action at the track this spring & some footage of our 65 Valiant also. Happy new year.

Oldschoolcuda
