Heres a picture of jack ross, he was the owner of bill luke chrysler (still operating) in phoenix. He did a lot of late night TV commercials during the 50's 60's and 70's. He died earlier last year.

That is Jack Ross, but I do not believe he ever owned Bill Luke Chrysler which was and is a family business founded by Bill Luke. Jack had multiple dealerships, but in the 50 - 70s I think he was Lincoln Mercury dealer, thus the picture of the Lincoln he and his wife Aquanetta are sitting in.

I worked for this Minot, ND dealership in 1964 after it had moved to a modern building a few blocks away.

I bought my challenger from the new place. Quite the change from today!

That must have been one of the reason that Chrysler bought Dodge. Besides the great quality Dodge had alot of dealers in US that Walther could use to sell his Chrysler cars.

This was one of two Plymouth Dealers in Minot, ND for many years and they were located only a couple of blocks apart.

If the date of this photo matches the car, it was the same year I bought a 1953 Plymouth Cranbrook from this dealer, but I'm not sure what year Simca became a Chrysler brand. I think it was after 1958.

The place was unique for the fact that the used car "lot" was upstairs in a heated area. If you wanted to take a test drive, they brought the car down in an elevator.

In North Dakota, that feature made it a good place to shop in winter.
