IIRC VR-1 has a high zinc content that is actually not recommended for EFI. I may be mistaking.....Messes up the sniff test.

I have not heard this before, is it for all EFI's? I am interested in hearing more, because I use the Valvoline VR1 oil

I should have posted that other weights were available but Amazon does a pretty good job of doing that if you drop down on their ads. I ran 20-50 for years but now I always set up for 10-30.

I ordered some of this last week. It was on sale. Research I did on it, showed it rated right behind Mobil 1 for synthetics. Came to $21.25 a case with tax.

Yup, "...The phosphorus in this compound (ZDxx+phosphorous) creates carbon buildup in engine bores and valvetrains, and both compounds can also lead to the early demise of catalytic converters.." . F' em if you dont run cats and change your oil regularly!
