Yeah ok, not on the show. And not car related but I thought a few might like to see things and get a kick out of it.
6 days ago, I came up with an idea to surprise my grandfather, who’s had a very rough year losing my grandmother the day after their 56th year wedding anniversary and all the changes that has brought fort, by restoring his 1956 Model 60 John Deere. He had one when he was a teenager and loved it. Sadly it was sold for other reasons, there was a tragic farm accident involving it back then, anyway several several years ago he finally found a duplicate of that tractor and bought it. It was rough and needed some work, engine was rebuilt and we got it running earlier this year. But it desperately needed sanded and painted and he just didn’t have the physical ability or money to do it. So my brother and I got together, stole this tractor out of the barn last Friday and tonight, we’re putting the finishing touches on for a big unveil on Christmas Day.
