So I've been taking care of my dad for a bit over 10 years. He passed away a couple days after my birthday in my arms. And im glad i was there for him, not off on some less meaning full adventure. He was my everything. I miss him more than most could imagine. Im quite broke after the funeral and burying him. And im so glad I got to take care of him 1 last time. He's the reason I worked so hard to buy my demon. All that being said I finally have everything to put a big block behind my 4 speed. Im planning on useing a 1978 rv engine as my "training wheels" engine before I put in my 451 stroker dual quad. And yes I allready built up the drivetrain and suspension. Currently it's has an original junkyard fresh 225 feather duster engine and my spare 4 speed overdrive. And yes it gets around 36 mpg highway. So far I have the only running and driving 71 demon in alaska. There is a dude who is getting 1 driving. But until then, Im ripping the only 71 demon around alaska and i know my dad would be proud as hell. He always was.

Sincere condolences on the loss of your father. As hard as that must have been, it was just something you had to do and you will never regret the time together.

Love the Demon and keep us posted on the progress.
Peace.

You're absolutely right your life will never be the same. I lost my mom in December fairly suddenly. She was a very strong amazing woman and someone who I could share my successes and my concerns with. Deep condolences to you and your family.

Thank you. Im doing my best. I helped him have the best retirement a guy could ask for. We had great memories and we were both Excited for the big block world. And I want to do a comparison of the feather duster 3.7l 225 to the 78 rv 440 with tune up bolt on goodies, to the built 451. That's my plan. It's been 8 ish years of upkeep and building so im quite Excited.

Sorry for your loss. My dad past away in 1988 (he was only 52, I was 27). He taught me a lot about cars (and life). There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about him or something he taught me. I hope/pray that when I leave, my children will have the same kind of great memories I had with my dad.

Our condolences, for us lucky ones the pain of losing a Superhero feels unbearable. Very cool your Dad was a songwriter! Music(and other stuff) are emotional triggers for me. I can only imagine how it makes you feel.
Be well.

Positive thoughts & good memories your way - good luck with the Demon - is that an old Falcon there - 62 ?
It's a 60 ranchero. I got it for my nephew. His mom left when he was 2 weeks old and my brother wasn't ready for kids, so my dad and I took care of him for years and now my brother got his life together. And I have a 303 for it, a 3 speed and a bunch of other stuff. I also have a 76 dodge truck in my garage. And an rv I need to pull the 460 out of for my 78 bronco.

Sorry for the loss of your dad. By you taking care of your dad till his passing shows the love, closeness and friendship that you too had. Good luck with your '71 demon, sounds like it's going to be a fun ride.

Thank yyou. Dang! 52. My dad made it to 66 and i spoiled the crap out of him. He was reluctant on eating organic food at first, then he realized it was the same food but better lol I really tried to have kids befor he passed. My last gf was larger not really pretty and had no teeth and like every other chick, she dumped me. None of my gf's could handle the fact that I had someone else to take care of. As is they wernt the center of attention. But o well I make good money, can play almost any instrument, im handsome, and got cool cars. I'll find someone eventually lol thankfully im only 31 and ya I've spent my entire life with my dad. After he got hit by a car I retired him, cause he was ganna work himself to death, and I didn't want to see him suffer. So he got to be a full time musican and grandpa for his retirement. And i even have a bunch of recordings of us playing music together. My only regret is not giving him some grandkids lol but he had lucas so it wasn't so bad lol

Ya it's rough, but I was spoiled having him around as long as I did. We hung out everyday and talked for hours about cool interesting things. And ya fortunately his music brings back lots of great memories. His music was really good, being a 6th Gen musician he was quite obsessive about it. Fortunately he saw how evil the music industry truly is and just wrote cool hard rock conspiracy songs lol total badass he wrote a song in 79 that was on a 4 track, with a 9 guitar harmony at 1 point. And he used the worlds first active guitar to control the volume decay when recording so menny tracks. And he in the early 2000s hacked flight simulator and put guns in it and the crashes back, cause they removed the crashes after 911. And then Microsoft called him and convinced him to right software for them. And thats why we have that 1 off virson of flight simulator called combat pro lol and his name is on the back of the box! He was quite an exceptional guy, with more talents than I can rember. If anyone has a chance YouTube grant bovee, there is a bunch of hard rock with songs that will blow your mind lol.

Very cool story, thanks for sharing. Obviously a cool guy to sit down and share stories with.
Ill be firing up the Google machine lol.
Thanks!

Nice! Well the song i was referring to is called Marynucleoline. It's a song about how the military industrial complex using Marijuana, nuclear energy and gasoline to enslave the world. Actually Marynucleoline is a word my dad invented lol. He wrote a song about the hollow earth star trek episode called hollow is the world, and wrote a song about time travel called hole in the bubble. And a song called angry American. There's a lot of them! And there all amazing lol

Im sure if he wanted to actually be famous, he would have been dead in the 70s... cause he is pure truth, justice, love. and the satanic world we live would have ate him alive if he wasn't so observant.

Very cool! I found him and listened to a few, VERY talented. Not sure if you have access to Dads Boobtube account, but that is his digital property and you may want to claim it(one way or another).
