So my buddy found this car for me. Its a local one and the price is 1200 obo

Looks like it might be the winner.
Will be getting ahold of the current owner tonight. Its a '67 with 273 4bbl that they say runs good, body needs work~ yeah I will work that body !!

It's a good start and you're doing everything anyways so spending money on a partially done car won't likely be cost effective.

Offer them $700 and see how it goes.

Check the roof REAL close. Those vinyl tops LOVE to rust the panels.
