Happy Father’s Day evveryone! Just wondering what you’re grilling today? I’m gonna be cooking up a couple of Strip steaks and corn on the cob. Enjoy!

I have Salman and cat fish going on later, and some farm fresh burgers from a cow my sons had cut up and packaged.
Happy Father's day.

My grille mostly has bugs on it. Maybe some road tar
:lol: :steering::steering:

About to throw it on...

You'd be more than welcome.
Can you keep us updated on this process? What kind of grill ?
Fuel ?
Starting temps and final 1 hour ?

I have never cooked one, a musician friend did one of these two years ago and I was so surprised at the tender flavor it had.

Buddy was with me 14 years and 9 months, I loved his company around the grill.

Can do.

Honestly I'm terrible about remembering every time. So I just Google cooking times.

This is about a 17lb prime rib roast. $7.49 per/lb seemed like a damn good price. I've done my own rubs, but the local butcher shop at the grocery store does a great one. I have him put a layer between the ribs and the roast as well.

25-30min per lb at 250 degrees I've had them get done way early so I watch it close. Have a timer set for 8hrs.

Using a Louisiana Grill these days. I haven't found a pellet grill that doesn't have its finicky times. They are still impressive. Pellets are whatever the old lady happened to pick up last time. I usually get a blend from a local store, but they haven't had them in a while.

Looking forward to the Yumm posts

That’s quite the rig you’ve got there!

We just ate light for now but we are cruising east to a craft distillery around supper time.

Had bro in law and sis in law over.
John had huge T-bone, Darl had top sirloin, I had a NY strip.
Cooked by John on my Infra red grill.

Hamburgers, fresh ground sirloin, cooked on a Weber charcoal grill w/mesquite, slice of tomato, a slice of cheddar cheese on a fresh Publix roll. Fresh sweet corn on the cob and black eyed peas. Vanilla Ice cream with fresh sliced peaches for desert.

Does Publix still have those French Hamburger buns? I lived in Naples Fl a while back and really liked them!
