In the shop getting chassis & body work in prep for paint. But original can be seen where the blower block off was.

My dads 64 Chrysler 300K convertible was that color, so I grew up with it... Had the car for eight years... Crossed the US Alaska to Texas, California to New York... Then shipped it to Europe, eventually left it in Adana Turkey...

Black (it's a Canadian Valiant) Stunning black with the red interior. Someone checked the right boxes on that order.

Wow that sounds like some adventure !

Hey Mike, my original plan is black, but I just want to be sure, and see some other 66 colors.
Black with red interior is pretty sharp !
That they are. The 66 GT's have a lot of chrome that really pops with black paint.

I like any of the factory blues on the 66's. Actually, most of the colors look pretty sharp on them. Hell, I'd even rock multicolored spot primer on one. I couldn't make up my mind so I decided to just go with the stock white on mine. Boring, but it's just a hotrod.

One thing I'm not usually a huge fan of is all of the gaudy trim on the '66 GT's. I'm more of a minimalist I guess. Although on the black ones above, it does look pretty good.

A 170 model is what you need. This one is in blue also. @pettybludart

I like the Mauve too - unusual and very stylish.

Since part of the top is sectioned off, I know some of these had a had vinyl top there, but did they offer contrasting color where the vinyl was? I would sure take advantage of the chrome and make it a two tone...

There use to be a 65 here in town that was Turquoise with the top panel painted white... 273-4bbl & a 4spd... Cool little Dart...

I’ve thought about doing the white roof on mine but not really wanting the extra trim it’s a 170 post car
