What do you think?

Yeah, why not throw it together as is and see what she'll do.....
I think the headers would help a lot with that cam, compression, etc. though.
I know they're a hassle, and i don't blame you because i'm in the same boat pretty much physically, but a B-Body is a lot easier to deal with when it comes to headers than an A-Body.
Headers don't kill people, people kill people. lol
But anyway, plop in in there and have some fun or at least it would be a lot more sellable running and driving.

I agree 100%. I am trying to work toward it hard as I can. I have zero help, so it's a slow process. The closest person I know on here is 50 miles away. My son lives in Phoenix and even if he was here, he has zero interest so I am on my own.

I have a Torker 383. But I WANT an Edelbrock DP4B.
DP4B's might have been the best low-deck manifold ever made (I kicked
a lot of a$$ with mine!).

Honestly, if you peruse the comprehensive Hot Rod Magazine Mopar
low-deck B-engine intake manifold comparo you will find that the RPM
(not the Performer RPM) is almost identical to the DP4B. Another good
choice is the Holley Street Dominator which offers excellent hood clearance.

On a stick car, I would choose the Performer RPM. Check them out:
