I have the Dana 60 it has the brackets, I have the ladder bars. What else besides shocks or coilovers.
I think I need somewhere to mount the coilovers & a mount in front for the ladder bars.
I think I just need to know what the stuff is called.
And if anyone has any photos they'd like to share.

front of ladder bars....ladder bar cross member...with brackets...
Are the frame railed tied? If not you will need to tie the frame rails together to have a place to mount the front ladder bar crossmember

coil over shocks.....if that what you want....you will need upper and lower shock mounts....you will need a upper shock mount crossmember..
if you go cover of shocks you will need some kind of panhard bar....to hold the rear housing in place

you can use the leaf springs but will need some kind of slider for the lead springs...

it is not hard to do....just take your time....measure everything several times...tack weld...measure again...

Thank you for the details, Okay let's say I want to do leafs, would you use caltracs monoleafs ?
Also no the frame rails are not tied

you would have to call Catracs......most important you will need some kind of slider so the leaf springs and ladder bars do not bind the rear suspension

Sounds like a major headache, think I'll just go with caltracs
Not to open the Pandora’s box but my opinion you can’t go wrong with Caltracs. Love mine, takes a little bit of fiddling to get your launches sorted out but once you do they are bullet proof. Wealth of info and several threads on how to dial them in right here on FABO.

What's your opinion on the shocks that come in the kit?
Looking to run into low 10s

what kit? what shocks?,,,,buy the best shocks you can afford......

Oh there's a package deal, leafs, bars and shocks.
Doesn't look like it's for 3 inch inboard though. Got it but the best I can afford

If you're lookin to hook as hard as CalTracs can, whether you use them or not, you'll need the frame rails tied.

Are you talking about subframe connectors ? If so yes, that is definitely in the build plan.
