I just pulled the engine and trans out of my 1969 Barracuda. It has a 340 small block in it and 727 trans. It took me longer to remove the header bolts on these rusty old Hooker Competition headers than it took me to pull the engine and trans out. I not only do NOT want to put these things back in the car, I don't even see how it will be possible to start and torque down a few of these bolts, as they are so tight and close to the tubes I can barely get a wrench on. Is there any headers that fit these A body 340s with more room to work with? Headman, Kooks, ect? Thanks!!

I, too have heard good things about Doug's headers. I have TTI's but am not completly thrilled with the fit.
I know what you mean about those old Hooker's.

Where's a good place to look into purchasing the TTI? I looked at some pictures of the Dougs headers and those look like a much nicer piece.

TTi directly from them. Dougs you can get from jegs, summit, autozone (if they are having a sale get it through them). The part number is D453 (ceramic coated), D453-R (raw finish, you'll need to paint them or have them coated).
