Sorta but I didn't undercoat to hide but rather to protect.
Everything I did on the car a con man could do to try to pass off a car. Does that mean I should try to make things more apparent ?
And yes, that section of the car is preserved and treated from further damage. A person could cut out and put metal in there but would most likely use bondo also . I kept the bondo more confined by tapering in the edges of the hole . Won't be a problem. Very practical and keeps more original metal in the car .
