What kind of beer ?

-
Begins with a "B" or an "A" and ends with either an "R" or an "E", I'm on it! If it's a really hot day in the summer, I like a simple Miller High Life, If I'm eating steak or tri-tip I like a stout, hanging with friends, Blue Moon or a nice hefeweizen (no fruit).

I cant believe you are the only one so far with Hefe. A nice cold Hefe with dinner is great.

There are others I'll enjoy at a pub .....but these are my home faves....

Labatt's Blue in bottles is my favorite, but i usually drink Busch. It's a lot cheaper than blue and it tastes similar.
Kokanee is in third place, and Molson Canadian is a distant 6th behind Bud, and Lucky Lager.
I will not drink draft beer of any type.
I still don't get it with the flavoured beers.......i want a beer to taste like a beer not a chocolate raspberry bitter milkshake with lime.

I'm not "loyal" to any one brand or type. The Local Publix Supermarket has a 6 pack deal. You can select any six beers you wish, and they have a flat charge for the six pack. I usually select 6 different beers (brands of types) that I've never had before.
If people are coming over, I will usually ask what they like, and buy that. I still drink the odd brands and types.
I particularly like dark heavy beers.

X2 for dark heavy beers. A couple favorites - Old Heathen imperial stout, Troegenator double bock. Love to try different brews. Wish we had the variety six pack deal like that. Course first we need to get beer in the grocery stores, Lol ( distributer only around here). Usually get variety cases, but lately, too many are including fruity crap and pumpkin which I think is really gross.

This week I have
Steam Whistle
Leffe
Labatt blue
Hoegaarden

Canadian/Belgian variety

i just happen to live here too

I loves me some Turbo Dog!

Abita really took off after Katrina, but sadly, Dixe (Blackened Voodoo) seems to have not survived.

Big fan of Sam Adams Oatmeal Stout.
They have a good cider, too.

Theakston's "Old Peculiar" goes great with some beef jerky.

Spaten Optimator.

Pills "Im Stien".

Yes, Miller 64 on occasion.

I've been on a cider kick, as well, and am happy to see the market gaining new ones lately. The Angry Orchard ginger and cinnamon ones are kinda cool. Also Woodchuck Granny Smith.

I don't always drink beer, but when I do............ (meme)
I dated an English girl back when there was only one place in town that even carried it. That's where it started.
In other words, before it was cool. (meme redux)
