it was setup strickly for the track, and ran 93 pump gas

i run close 13.1 in a sbc in a vega. .275 dome with 60cc heads with no problems at all... i have adjustable timing on the dash so if i hear it rattle i can take 15 degrees out of it..only rattles if you lug it really bad... i also spray it with 150 shot on 93 gas.

when i got the car home, i put a battery and fuel in it. it started right up, but i did not let it run long, as i was afraid because it sat 7 yrs. so my intentions was to just freshen it up..
i am told that it ran a best of 11.28 the way i bought it. but a week after he took it to the track, he had a heart attack and passed, then i in return bought the car from his brother. it went to the track one weekend, and then sat for 7 years. i pulled the engine apart to just put new seals, till i seen the huge pistons, so then i took them and had them cut down. they are ready to go back in the block. crank did not even need polishing, nothing was wrong with anything. it still has the big cam in it, but i was thinking of keeping it in there with the heads, and little lower compression, reringing it, new valve seals, and gaskets. i also have the race trans that was in it. i took it to my mopar man, that owns a trans shop, and he gave it a clean bill of health, and showed me that it looks like it was never ran yet. everything in it is new

I would try to lose some compression somewhere (like head gaskets) slap it back together and run 93 in it after reading you last post.
