My 72 Dart seats are in great shape. Just a little dirty in the white/black cloth sections. I tested some Turtle Wax with Oxy in a small section, and it sort of caused the black to run into the white a little. So, that's not going to work.

What would be recommended to use? Water and a small amount of dish soap? They're not extremely dirty, just a little.

Thanks.

Try woolite fabric/carpet/upholstery cleaner and a soft/medium nylon bristle brush. Scrub lightly. You may have to repeat the process.

When I used to detail, we didn't have a sure fire way of getting cloth seats clean. The best method was to spray whatever type of cleaner you had and then just vacuum it out immediately. Scrubbing seemed to put the stains in deeper.

OK, I will do that with the Tuff Stuff and/or the Woolite. My main goal is to jut not screw up the dye in the seats, while cleaning them. Unfortunately, I messed up one spot, but maybe the new cleaner will minimize it.

Update to this. I got a couple cans of the Tuff Stuff and it worked great. The white/black checkered cloth is much whiter now, and it removed the stained areas too. It even removed what looked like "bleeding" from the Oxy stuff I tried first. Glad to see that bleeding wasn't permanent.

I followed directions on can exactly... spray on liberally, wait 30-40 seconds, scrub lightly with damp cloth, then scrub lightly to dry with dry cloth. After waiting until completely dry, it looks great.

Thanks all for your input.
