this is a rusty car with title. 1965 barracuda formula s with a b body rear end in it, four speed and spare parts, has 14" s car wheels covers. make your guesstimate on its worth then I'll add the last pic in a few day's, very tempted to buy this car even though it's a lil pricey

I say a grand or 60% of what he is asking. Sounds like he might be watching Barrett Jackson and thinks that all Mopars are worth a ton.

Is the 4 speed and all linkage there Wagg's ? I see some short'es there and I have never ever seen a tac like that memike like, but have no idea what it is worth, a dandy for sure........ with some hard to find parts that look good, front and rear grill/lites/body parts in good shape 1,700 would be a number to have a Formula S 4speed early A, But that just me with empty pockets, these don't show up very often.
If you do pick it up you need to keep the round Barracuda/Valiant center grill emblem you have up for sale, I believe the 65/65 used the round V in the grill, not the fish , but I could be wrong again

you are correct it does take the v for the grille, man you got a keen eye noticed the new shorties, the 14 inch formulas s wheelcovers, tach, all four speed parts there, the valve covers there the shift plate for the floor, spare 1/4 panels, doors and a pile of extra's...has sure grip with 4:10's, I'm surprised nobody asked more about the b body rear end??? you are closest to the price he's askin it's up a lil way's from there

To be honest I had 2grand typed out and changed it to 1.700.
You can talk him down if you feel you need to, It is a nice early A for sure and with allot of parts on the side :thumblef:
If I was not about to leave and go shoot APA pool league again tonight I would look and see if I could find out how many was built
Is it a factory 4 speed formula S Wagg's ? have you ran the numbers yet ?

yes it's the real deal, he's the second owner, bought the car in 1971 and drove it for some time, numbers matching.... except the rearend :happy1: that "b body" rearend :prayer::prayer::prayer::prayer::prayer::prayer:

I am guessing because you have not specified that it is a Dana? In that case, $2200 for the car. Sell the Dana for $1800 and have a $400 form S. Looks like a fun project.

4:10s would make it a super track pack rear too.

for that price he's got a push cart and a john boat with no title that comes with the deal yes it has the supertrackpak dana and kewl traction bars and shock extensions cant wait to put them on my car and paint under the hood black!!!!

iirc, Dana is actually a posi and not a sure grip.

all depends what u plan on doin with it. parting it out will probably bring u about 2,500 bucks. restoring it will cost u about 30,000. i have seen fully restored 65 formula s 4 speeds for sale ocassionally for around 20,000. just my 2 cents.

The 64 and 65 Cuda did not have any emblem in the grille. Only the 66 did.

Do I need to make a wish list lol I would tell ya what i got in mine as a runner but its just a plan slanty car so it dont apliy lol But if u get it i could make a nice fake lol Bad Asa Bad !

I know you could fix this but all I see is a parts car. I say $1500 max as long as all of the Formula S stuff is still there (tach, sway bar etc...). Work him down to the lowest he'll go and buy it.

The owner needs $ I see the value of the dana 60 , so getting the rest of the car and parts for a decent price, he's having health issues, so not gonna be a tightwad after all he's good people

I'm a little jaded on values right now :) .

Lot of good parts, is that an aftermarket tach on the column? The factory one might not work if it's replaced with an aftermarket one.

I can honestly say, that I would definitely watch that build enthusiastically.
