Thanks all for the good/bad comments. I know my cars not perfect, but I bought it that way. Here in Aus if you have an American LHD car & it's 30 years or older it can stay LHD.
When I went looking for an American muscle car I wanted something different that not many people know about here. Like all brands. Initially I wanted a big block car as they didn't make them here & I love torquey motors. I definitely didn't want a Mustang or Camaro as they're dime a dozen here, but when I saw this Dodge for sale 3 years ago at my local towns Mopar show I had to have it.
After 3 years have not seen another genuine H code Demon. They've been a couple of 318 Demons & that's it.
Going to also get a set of 15" Rallye Wheels for it also. Wife loves the Cragar's though. I'll swap them over every 6 months. Getting stuff for the Demon sucks as it all has to comes from the states so the exchange cooks me them the freight burns me. I hate it.
Ref cost, I paid $32k Aust ($24 USD), but have been offered $55k Aust ($41USD).
I absolutely love the car. It's my first Mopar. Soon I'll be spending some money on the driveline to make it go faster. I'd like to get around 400 fly wheel horse power, (300 at the rear wheels). Won't be stripping down the motor though. Just bolt on stuff, ie. carby/inlet manifold/heads/cam/doug's headers etc. I'll keep all the original stuff so it can be reversed though.
Cheers,
Glenn.
