Of all the plans, nobody has interior plans... LOL
Who needs an interior when the car cant move?!
I mean I'm installing new arm rests in my car, that counts right?
(Not directed at anyone just a joke)

Oh go faster is definitely a goal too. But my wife rode with me the other day and she says “ok, it’s time to get door panels put in this thing!” So I guess interior it is! LolBoth my Dusters need interior, so I will join ya.... except.... I won't change my vote "go faster" LOL
That was my logic too! For quite awhile the only interior my Duster had was the dash and front seat... but it ran! But once I got the floor padding, rubber floor mat and back seat in it made a HUGE difference in driving quality. Now I want even better sound deadening!Who needs an interior when the car cant move?!

EditProbably put off any major engine changes. Tweak and tune to get the most out of the smogger 360. Take it to the track a few times. Repaint the black hood. Rework foam on front seats. Fix a little hole on driver side cover. Install the refurbed heater box. Not much, just enjoy driving it this year.
For years now I have babied my Dart and drove it to the coast and back on some trips as long as 17 hours one way.
In 2020 the goal is to get a little more fun of a different kind out of it.
5.9 Magnum dressed as an LA motor, Engine Quest heads, mild cam, long tube headers, Flowmaster 40's with dual 2.5 inch exhaust, aluminum intake, Edelbrock 600, 42RH overdrive trans with a stage 2 Transgo kit.
1.03 torsion bars, subframe connected, KYB single tube gas shocks, poly bushings front and rear along with trans mount. (Motor mounts rubber)
Nitto 245/45-18 in the back and 225/45-17 in the front.
MAD bypass on the electrical, all LED lighting except for the headlights.
Original gauges replaced with white face mechanical and volt meter replacing the amp gauge.
GE Nighthawk headlights with relay kit.
I put the motor together, built the trans, painted the car and did all the mods myself over the course of 5 years while it was my daily driver for work, service calls and even grocery store runs.
The cars has had everything but the wheels and tires for a few years, so now it's time to change the way it's driven.
Just recently swapped in a 8.25 Sure Grip and 3.55 gears and rear disc brakes.
Also just recently came up with a good Eddie 750. (Thanks Roy)
I think it's time to start having more fun and breaking ****.

Get the tamer...Just gonna try to make it to the track more than last year. Will be doing some carb tuning, timing adjustments, and possibly try a bigger carb to pick up a few tenths. Still have the Clutch Tamer swimming in the back of my head too!

It's been my experience through my work and helping people get their cars on the road that nine times out of 10 it isn't a total lack of funds or lack of Parts it's more lack of motivation.. some people say they don't have time but most of the time they seem to have plenty of time to watch TV... and a great majority of the time there's so many things that they want to get done they get themselves overwhelmed and can't get anything done... What most need is a kick in the butt....44 votes to "get the car on the road", a complete runaway winner. Maybe we should start a thread "what I need to get the car on the road" and folks can swap parts, sell parts, give parts away, because some of these cars are just a few hours and a few parts away from hitting the road.....
