A factor is how stink-bug you want the rear.
This is ns1rm21’s latest project…
He found if you want the tire more inside the wheel well there’s a ledge in the outer wheel house you can flatten. Also some other lumps.

They look nice and all but after having done the installation with the car up on stands like that I wouldn't install a weld to floor set like the USCT connectors again unless I had the car on a rotisserie. It's just a pain in the ***, you've always got slag falling on you and it's difficult to maintain positions where you can actually see what you're doing, which certainly doesn't help with producing nice, pretty welds.
If you look close they are just tacked in place.
He’s going to put it on lift to finished cause he’s done many before and it’s a PITA without a lift.
I have a stock axle width with BBP axles, drum brakes. I have a 3" leaf spring relocation kit and I'm mini tubbed to the frame. My axle is centered side to side and front to back (they never are from the factory, all the Mopars I've ever owned have been shifted to one side by as much as 1/4" - 3/8" so if this is not fixed it will also effect your tire fitment. I also plan on trimming the outer wheel lip a bit more, but right now It measures 15 1/2" from inner tub to inner lip of wheel well. Keep in mind, depending on the tire diameter the 3" relocation kit (at least on mine) sticks into the wheel well, so that can lose you about another 1/4" of space. Anyway If your going custom rims find the exact center to center. Since I'm not, I went with 15x12 Weld Pro Stars with a 7.5" backspace which was a popular 12" wide choice, If I was going to run 15x10 rims I'd go with 6.5 backspace which seems to be a popular size for Dusters with limited options of backspacing. with a 15x10 I see a lot of people running 325x50R15 tires on the back. I want a little more sidewall, so I plan on running either 29x14.5x15's which would limit me to only Hoosier Quick Time Pro DOT which aren't the best street tire or even recommended for that matter, Or if I trim my lower wheel lips, I could look for a 29.5" tires with similar width.hey guys i mini tub my 72 duster getting ready to buy cragers 15x7 for the fonts here is my question the back wheels what width and back spacing can i use and where to buy? any help would be greatly appreciated .>
