I guess do as little as possible, enjoy it and add to it later. 383 with a 4.25" stroke crank, set of aluminum heads, 2" headers....:)

You got chrome valve covers and 426 on the hood. All you need is the correct air cleaner and nobody will ever know.

Looks like it's in nice shape! I had a 64 Belvedere wagon many moons ago. Same dash with the typewriter transmission. Swapped the 318 Poly for a low miles 440 out of a 72 Town & Country wagon and found a 65 Slip yoke big block cable shift 727. I had my own personal Cope-A-Dope experience with that transmission, except with a local transmission guy. Junked the cable 727 and built a linkage type BB 727. Just an FYI, a 68 B Body column shift auto steering column will bolt right in the 64 and the shifter linkage fits like it was made for it. Glad you got a nice 64 to work with. I know you'll do good things for it.

Love those early B's. I have had more than a few over the decades, miss them all!
They always came apart (nuts, bolts, screws!) way better than 68-70 Bs and hands down better than E bodies. My fav is still the 62 B even if some think they are a little goofy looking! A MX makes it way less goofy!!
