Where did you and your car go today?

Drove my son to school in my 5.0View attachment 1715386851
Fox bodies are cool. I had a 93 convertible.

That car taught me two things.
1. I don't like convertibles because I have big hair and don't like it going everywhere in the wind.

2. The 2.3 liter engine is the most gutless engine ford ever used. A go kart would have beat that car by a lot in a race

The Duster and I went fishing this evening. Or I guess I should say we threw bait in the water... no fish to show.

We have a local chain of brewpubs. I took my magnificent sweetie and went to one of their nearby locations for lunch.

After new rear brake shoes and automatic adjusters, took my wife and grandson to Shannon Market to pick up hamburger meat for dinner. Didn't think to get a photo since it was just a little market, lol.

Took the duster to drop the kids off for thier first day of school

Wife and I out for a short drive, stopped took a snap shot of “The Mill” part of the Historic Route 66 drive that goes through Lincoln, IL. Known for their plate size Schnitzel sandwiches and cold adult beverages. The Mill open in 1929 and had a few colorful customers’ in the past with some illegal gaming activies as well. Had a few beers there while in my youth, closed in 2005 good times had by many….

Pushed mine from one end of the garage to the other just to fit in on the conversation. :) But next summer should be able to post a road trip. :steering:

There was a nice 69 Road runner on the other side before. Too bad the guy was a dick!

That's a shame I don't know why people show up at car shows or cruise inns with nice cars and act like that. Well maybe that's for another thread.

Went downtown with my daughter for a waffle cone...then visited and payed respects at the Veteran's Memorial museum. Gorgeous day as it barely tipped 90°. Endless thanks to all the men and women that have served.

No pics, but drove my Dart to work two days this week. About a 45 minute drive each way.
Starting to drive it a little more now that the weather is cooling off a bit.

Just can't handle it on the 90+ degree days with no a/c.
