I’m finished putting together my 66 Valiant convertible. I don’t know where these go.
This is the original condition, I have not cleaned them.

I believe they go on the bottom or corner of the rear side panels somehow, by the back seat.

Having fun with it in beautiful Sarasota.

Can you share your build a bit, What size carb are you running and head work ?
Do you like the 2 barrel and is it working out good for you ?
What a beautifully built 66 Vert  Congratulations :glasses7:

10:1 compression, slight head / valve work, 268 Mech Clifford cam 447 lift, dual exhaust, Clifford long draft intake, Mallory Ignition, MSD box,
Holley 350 2 barrel, works fair, we had several sitting on the self from our racing days so we used one. Still playing with the jets and power valve, running a 6.5 and 54 jets now. Lots of guys use the 390 4 barrel. I understand that Clifford has a Webber set up that works the best.
With the long 225 stroke, cam and compression it has a real unique sound. We have a 67 Coronet 500 convertible with a sweet 440, but the slant six gets more attention.

My home town, Mom's still there, her '66 Valiant was well known on Fruitville Rd. for 30 years. Maybe we'll see yours one day, it's beautiful. Whereabouts outside of town were the pics taken?
